Wow! You are doing a great job documenting the rollercoaster ride. I'm sure Ramya will one day appreciate reading about all the work and prayer that went into bringing her home.

At the end of this post, you write "Here's a book I am currently reading that I am liking so far. It paints a very honest picture of the types of situations and things you may deal with when you adopt a child with a rough background, but also offers tips on how to work through these issues." I'd be interested in what book that is, but there's not title or link afterwards. What is the book? I heard once about a book called "Children From Hard Places", or something like that, but couldn't find it on Amazon.

TIA for the reply!

~Maire (Anandi's mama)Late Bloomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00720229494791890942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2616452666148403026.post-69404834173185035562011-06-18T00:18:59.834-07:002011-06-18T00:18:59.834-07:00I'm so thankful that your journey continues, a...I'm so thankful that your journey continues, and that God is sustaining you. Maybe the orphanage director thought you would be the best family for her because you understand the medical issues, and she gave Manasa to a family who didn't have that kind of knowledge. Good luck with the process! Can't wait to hear more about it!Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17703631579811118354noreply@blogger.com
